-
Value for Money
This is upper boutique. Not cheap, but the quality of renovation and exclusivity in the pool area comprises a justified rate.
-
Staff Performance
They are warm and friendly, with that "Costeño" disposition. Always willing to help make a reservation or set up some surprise romantic decoration at turndown.
-
Hotel Location
Location is absolute gold. Safest, prettiest part of the Old City, best restaurants real close but out of the noisy nightlife zone.
-
Area
This is the most photogenic block in all of Cartagena, with flower-filled balconies and pastel facades lining the street right outside the hotel.
-
Overall Cleanliness
Housekeeping is meticulous. The hotel smells fresh, the linens are crisp, and the common areas are spotless despite dust from the city in all open spaces.
-
Breakfast Variety
Breakfast is delicious and fresh. There is no full service restaurant for dinner but culinary options surrounding it are world class.
-
Bed Quality
Rooms are stylish with powerfully effective air conditioning (essential). Travelers with lots of luggage should book larger suites.
-
Wi-Fi Experience
Free Wi-Fi works well all over the place, even on the roof. You can work remotely up there while catching a tan.
-
Room Freshness
“Tropical Colonial.” It’s cool and leafy. Magic realism, trendiness, lushness—this could be the perfect atmosphere in Cartagena.
-
Peace & Quiet
Good sleep. Better if you get one of the rooms opening onto an internal courtyard, away from all the street noise.
-
Long-Term Friendly
Suitable for a 3-5 day romantic getaway. The pool makes it easy to spend half the day unwinding at the hotel.
-
Parking Facilities
There is absolutely no parking on site. You must rely on public lots outside the walls or expensive street parking, so a car is a burden here.
